This is our first official **Hello World** post and a short update about our current direction and the services we are building for the community.

About the Recent Incident

Recently, our **Virtualmin-based hosting environment** was targeted by an attack.

To put this into perspective:

• The incident was limited to the Virtualmin stack
• It was not a full infrastructure compromise
• Core infrastructure services remained intact
• The situation was contained quickly

Attacks against public hosting panels are unfortunately very common.
When operating open internet infrastructure, such probing attempts are an expected risk.

While disruptive, the incident confirmed something important for us:
**reducing complexity and minimizing attack surfaces is the right direction.**

New Direction: Focus on Independent Infrastructure Services

Instead of maintaining a large shared-hosting environment, we are focusing on **smaller, specialized services** that are easier to secure and maintain.

Our main projects now focus on:

• DNS infrastructure
• Independent email hosting
• Community cloud services

But more importantly, we want to offer **unique tools that are rarely available today.**

One of the most interesting services is **tux.wf**, which allows users to create their own **free subdomains**.

For example:

• yourname.tux.wf

The goal is to provide a **simple and open DNS tool for developers, hobbyists, and communities**.

Another project we are very excited about is **tuxmail.org**.

• Use standard IMAP / SMTP clients (Thunderbird, etc.)

For many users this is a **rare and powerful feature**, and that is why we consider this a **unique offering for the community.**

The focus is on:

• Privacy
